Emma Slater's debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway show looked a little different than what she imagined.
The performer, 37, and her Dancing with the Stars costars took to the stage on Saturday, May 30 for the annual show, which was held during Miami Swim Week on Miami Beach, Florida.
During their performance, which was temporarily interrupted due to rain, Slater and Val Chmerkovskiy wiped out on the catwalk during group choreography that also included Britt Stewart, Jenna Johnson and Hailey Bills.

A video shared by Hello!shows Chmerkovskiy, 40, slipping first and taking Slater down with him. Clips of the incident have since gone viral, prompting Slater to joke about it online herself.
"Woke up ready to see my photos from the Sports Illustrated runway show and all I'm seeing online is videos of me and Val falling onstage. Can't believe we did that!" she wrote in a TikTok shared on Sunday, May 31.
In the caption she added, "In front of SO MANY PEOPLE!! It would be us @Val 😂 Ok there's a back story though. Plexiglass runway and Florida rain."

However, the blunder didn't steal her spotlight. Slater walked down the runway with confidence in a sexy dragon-print one-piece swimsuit with cutouts that showed off her figure. For her performance look, she wore a plunging gold and fringe costume.

Recently, Slater addressed speculation about her retiring from the ballroom, saying she wants to "go through it as long as I can go for."
Appearing on the Three Questions with Andy Richter podcast, she explained, "Actually, someone came up to me last week and was like, 'Are the rumors true?' and I was like, 'What rumor?' They said, 'Are you retiring this year?' And I could see how a rumor like that would be starting, because they're looking at me like, 'She's the old girl.'"
As far as when her career on the show concludes (Slater joined the competition series in 2013), she added: "I would like it to be on my decision, I think. But I've decided that I'm going to expect to be there, and if and when they say I'm not invited anymore, I'll conquer that when it happens."
This year's SI Swimsuit show — which will stream on Hulu and Disney+ on June 9 — was hosted at W South Beach. Everyone from Tiffany Haddish, Remi Bader and Claire Kittle (who all made their runway debuts) to Camille Kostek, Alix Earle and all four of the Nader sisters — Sarah Jane, Mary Holland, Brooks Nader and Grace Ann — sizzled in sexy swimwear. Lizzo also surprised the crowd with a performance and multiple outfit changes.
