The country star, 26, released a cinematic new video for her No. 1 hit on Thursday, April 2, and recruited her co-writer Miranda Lambert, Yellowstone star Luke Grimes, Ava Phillippe and more to bring her vision to life.
In the video, Langley and Grimes, 42, ride together in his pickup truck to Abilene, Texas, which viewers soon learn is Grimes’ old “stomping grounds.”
They head to a local bar together where Lambert, 42, is playing on stage, and Grimes catches up with old friends, including rodeo stars Dale Brisby, JB Mauney, Shad Mayfield, Leighton Berry and Tyson Durfey and singers Tanner Usrey, Wade Bowen and Mike Ryan.
But when Phillippe, 26, shows up, it’s clear she and Grimes have a lot of history. As Langley heads into the bathroom for a chat with singer Katilin Butts, her man and his ex reminisce, and it’s clear he’s torn between the two women in his life.

Eventually, Langley makes her way out of the bar and chats with Lambert, who’s loading up her truck to head back to Tennessee.
“Honestly, I think the guy that I’m in love with is in love with somebody else,” Langley tells her, to which the “Bluebird” singer responds, “Sounds like he ain’t the one for you, then.”

She eventually takes up Lambert’s offer for a ride back to Tennessee, leaving Grimes free to reconnect with his childhood sweetheart.
The video was filmed at the Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth, Texas, and also includes members of the Texas A&M’s Aggie Wranglers dance team. Langley directed the video alongside Wales Toney and Caylee Robillard.
“Choosin’ Texas” recently hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and set a record for most weeks ever spent (four) atop the charts for a song by a female artist that also topped the Hot Country Songs chart.

The track appears on Langley’s upcoming second album Dandelion, which is set for release on April 10.
In March, Langley revealed that Lambert has offered her some advice as she navigates her rise to fame and the success of the song they wrote with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor.
"We were talking on FaceTime the other night. We’ve made history with this song, both just baffled and grateful. We loved the song, but never thought it would do this. There’s no way you can predict it," she told Country Countdown USA. "She said to me, ‘You are more important than this job.’ She made me care for myself. Having someone like that made me feel like I’m okay."
The star is setting off on her first headlining arena tour, titled The Dandelion Tour, starting on May 7 and running through Aug. 15.
