Kelly Ripa isn't a fan of going commando
The talk show host shared her opinion on wearing underwear all the time, revealing how going completely naked got her pregnant
She and Consuelos have been married for 30 years and share three children
Kelly Ripa is always open to discussing her underwear habits.
During Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa, 55, and husband Mark Consuelos debated whether or not people should wear underwear "all the time" and asked the audience to participate.
One particular guest was adamant about not wearing underwear at night to "air [everything] out," which Ripa was equally determined to argue against.
"I don't want to air it out," she said before going straight in with an NSFW confession. "I got pregnant at least twice that way," she said, then joking that she wears "metal britches" that require a code and face scan to get off.
Bedroom talk has been quite the conversation piece for the longtime married couple, who share three children: sons Michael, 28, and Joaquin, 23, and daughter Lola, 24.

In an episode aired on April 1, Ripa said that the retainer she wears at night acts like a "chastity belt," meaning once they're in, there is no action.
Earlier in March, the pair also talked about the impact working together has on their sex life in the mornings. "I've got to tell you, this job has really gotten in the way of that,” the actor, 55, admitted. “It's been the antidote for it."
During a July 2025 episode of the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast, Ripa commented on Consuelos' preferred time slot for intercourse.

“I said to him, ‘Here’s the thing,' ” she explained at the time. “‘There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can’t always be your way. ‘Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it’s your way. And now that we work together every day, it’s gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way’s at night only.'”
“The greatest thing about this job," she continued in reference to their show, "this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week, which is like a miracle.”
