Meghan Markle shared an unexpected detail about Prince Harry during her recent TV appearance which reveals a trait he shares with his estranged brother.

During a video call with her husband while filming for MasterChef Australia, the Duchess of Sussex discussed the contestants' dishes with him.

She described all the participants as "amazing" and gave particular praise to a hot sauce created by one of the chefs. However, when mentioning the sauce to her husband, she suggested it might not be ideal for him due to its heat level. Fans have been responding to Meghan's appearance on the show, but the response wasn't all positive.

The Duchess of Sussex told her husband, "There's a hot sauce and, you know, it's a sambal, and it is so good. I don't know, I think it might be too much for you, though. It's spicy."

This disclosure that Harry struggles with spicy foods and sauces may strike a chord with royal fans familiar with Prince William, Harry's estranged brother.

The Prince of Wales, 44, similarly has difficulty with overly spicy cuisine, indicating this is a characteristic the brothers share.

William himself confirmed this several years ago during an appearance with his wife, Kate Middleton, on Going Home with Vick and Jordan on Radio 1.

The Prince of Wales admitted on the radio program, "I can't do too much spice, I start sweating. It's not attractive."

Princess Catherine then noted, "Whereas I like the spice, so I have to sort of cook the curry and then add the spice, extra spice at the end."

This indicates that although they may not be communicating, William and Harry's shared difficulty with spicy cuisine is something the siblings can mutually understand.

Similarly, both of their spouses appear to enjoy spicy dishes, providing Meghan and Catherine with common ground they might eventually connect over. A reunion between the two couples doesn't look likely, however, with William and Kate not meeting with the Sussexes when they returned to the UK earlier this month.

While the Prince and Princess of Wales didn't meet up with Harry and Meghan, the Sussexes did take their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to meet with King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The meeting is said to have lasted for an hour, with details being kept tightly under wraps.
