Taylor Swift is weeks away from marrying Travis Kelce, but the pop superstar has reportedly drawn firm lines around who will witness the moment.
Sources familiar with the situation say the 36-year-old singer personally reviewed her guest list with deliberate care, excluding former best friend Karlie Kloss, as well as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, from the nuptials expected to take place July 3 in New York City.
"Taylor has meticulously gone through her wedding guest list because the people she wants at her wedding are the people she hopes will remain in her life forever," a source told Daily Mail. The news follows Hollywood talent manager Scooter Braun being ripped apart by Swifties after he claimed he hardly knew her.

The insider said, "She wants to be surrounded by those who can genuinely share the love and meaning of the day, especially the people who have played important roles in her life for years. Over time, some of her friendships have become strained for various reasons."
Swift and Kloss, a supermodel and entrepreneur, were one of pop culture's most prominent friendships throughout the mid-2010s, appearing together in music videos and at public events after meeting in 2013. Their relationship began cooling around 2017, and Swift notably did not attend Kloss's 2019 wedding to Joshua Kushner.

The source says that estrangement was no accident. "When it comes to Karlie, Taylor ultimately felt that the trust in the friendship had been broken," the source said.

"She came to believe that Karlie's intentions were not as genuine as she once thought, and that the friendship became more about proximity to Taylor's fame than a real bond."
The insider noted Kloss's ties to Scooter Braun, the talent manager who acquired Swift's original master recordings in 2019 as part of his $330 million purchase of Big Machine Label Group.

Swift famously fought a years-long battle to reclaim ownership of those recordings, eventually purchasing her masters last year.
"In Taylor's eyes, anyone closely aligned with Scooter is someone she simply cannot fully trust," the source said.
"She feels very strongly about who Scooter is as a person based on her own experiences with him, and because of that, she views the loyalty others show toward him as extremely revealing. To Taylor, if someone is willing to stand by Scooter at any point despite everything that has happened, it says a lot about their character and where their loyalties truly lie."

Braun, 44, has disputed the scale of his relationship with Swift. "I don't know Taylor Swift," he said recently. "I think I've met her in my life three times. I have never had a substantial conversation with her in my life." He added that reports of a prolonged feud reflected a "big misconception."
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement last August. Guests are reportedly required to sign a nondisclosure agreement as part of their RSVP.
